Fans of the TV show Shark Tank will find the “CEO vs Sharks” format familiar: each team has 5 minutes to pitch their business idea to a panel of judges–“or sharks”–who will each provide feedback and score teams on the viability and creativity of their business concept as well as the quality of their presentation. Additionally, the public is able to buy their innovative products during the Trade Show.
Teams compete for first, second, and third places among other prizes. Proceeds from the event help the Sangamon CEO program fund future student activities and classrooms.
